Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada Q-School Port St.Lucie April18-21

Emerson competed in Qualifying School in attempt to gain status on PGA Tour Canada for the 2017 season. Playing in firm, fast, and windy conditions, he shot rounds of 72-71-80-71=294, +6 over par. That four-day total was good enough for a tie of 36th place while officially gaining status on the Mackenzie Tour. The tour is 12 events over 16 weeks beginning the first week of June.
